Can you believe that both egg farmers, Wright and Hillandale, have refused to destroy the eggs or the chickens that are infected with salmonella?
Plus, the infected chickens are still producing eggs by the millions?
They know that destroying the eggs is the ‘right thing’ to do but because the FDA cannot order them to destroy the chickens, they have decided to use the eggs in other products such as mayonnaise and ice cream.
There you go, take a chance, give the kiddos infected salmonella ice cream why not. They are young and strong, they can handle getting sick.
This is absurd!
Scientists and researches are quoted as saying that if you cook the infected eggs, or even infected meat, at a ‘high enough temperature’, the salmonella bacteria can be killed and the product should be good to eat.
Well, I bet they will not be taking their own advice.
I want to see the FDA and the obama administration sitting at a table eating some of these salmonella infected eggs. Show us that these eggs are ok.
Never mind, the administration will just do ‘the old switcharoo’ as they did when obama went to the Florida Gulf Coast for a dip in the ‘clean gulf water’ and the ‘water part’ ended up being somewhere else other than the coastal water.
I for one will be avoiding Wright eggs and Hillandale eggs.
As consumers, we should all take responsibility for what we eat, but we should trust the FDA and the suppliers of our food supply to do all that they can to make sure the products that we buy at the grocers are good to consume.
